Our journey

1. 2014

   FOUNDATION

   Launched the first ABG Youth Leadership Program in Hanoi.

2. 2019

   ESTABLISHMENT

   Officially established the ABG Leadership Institute under Decision No. 58/2019 issued by the Vietnam Asia-Pacific Economic Center (VAPEC).

3. 2020

   COMMUNITY BUILDING

   Rolled out hybrid (online & offline) training programs nationwide and overseas. Founded the ABG Alumni Association (ABG Alumni), initiating impactful networking and community engagement activities.

4. 2021

   DOMAIN DIVERSIFICATION

   Launched specialized Youth Leadership Programs tailored for the education sector (ABG Education).

5. 2022

   BRAND POSITIONING

   Introduced the ABG Special Program, catering to senior executives and high-potential leaders.

6. 2024

   YOUTH LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT

   Launched the ABG Future Leaders training program.

7. 2026

   ECOSYSTEM & RESEARCH EXPANSION

   Expanded the scope of leadership programs into diverse sectors and tracks: Healthcare Agriculture Arts & Culture NextGen Mid-Management Fellowships

  Mr Nguyễn Cảnh Bình is the Director of ABG Leadership Institute and the founder and Chairman of Alpha Books Joint Stock Company. He also directs the Vietnam Intellectual Cooperation Centre (VICC). He is known as a speaker, entrepreneur and active public figure with many contributions, and he is especially dedicated to the young generation.

  Mr Võ Trí Thành is Director of the Institute for Brand and Competitiveness Strategy and former Vice President of the Central Institute for Economic Management (CIEM). He is an economic analyst and adviser on free trade, regional economic integration, financial development and macroeconomic policy.

  Ms Bùi Kim Thùy is a Senior Representative of the US-ASEAN Business Council (USABC) and a member of the Harvard Asia-Pacific Advisory Council. An economist with many years of experience negotiating free trade agreements, she wants to help build a better and kinder Vietnam every day.

  Ms Nguyễn Thu Huệ founded and runs the Centre for Marinelife Conservation and Community Development (MCD), and chairs the Vietnet Information and Communication Technology Centre (Vietnet-ICT). She cares deeply about sustainable development and wants to help young leaders commit to serving their communities and creating social impact.

  Mr Đàm Quang Minh chairs the K-12 Committee of Equest Education Group and has more than 20 years in education. He became Vietnam's youngest university rector when he took charge of FPT University at the age of 35.

  Mr Phạm Quang Vinh is a senior Vietnamese diplomat. He served as Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and as Vietnam's Ambassador to the United States, playing an important part in advancing relations between Vietnam and the United States and other countries, in building and strengthening bilateral ties, and in multilateral work.

  Assoc. Prof. Dr Đào Thị Thu Giang is the Rector of Đại Nam University and has many years of experience in education and business. She was co-director of ABG Future Leaders, the future young leaders program, and an advisor to ABG Education, the young leaders in education program, at ABG Leadership Institute.
